Chewing Gum: Season 1

My pick of the month this month is Three Kings. Starring George Clooney, Ice Cube, Spike Jonze, and Mark Wahlberg, this tells the story of four soldiers on the search for gold during the 1991 Iraqi uprising after the Persian Gulf War. It boasts a fantastic set of characters, great writing and directing, and a very strong satirical streak that will make you laugh and then feel bad immediately afterwards. If that’s not your cup of tea, then there’s the CW block of shows making their presence known: the fourth season of Arrow, the second seasons of both The Flash and iZombie, the third season of The Originals, the seventh season of The Vampire Diaries, and so much more. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off tops off the comedies that are available for your perusal as well. This month, there’s truly something for everyone.

Until next time…
