    So… The new mac pro has been tested with Pixar’s latest animation software… Renders that took twelve hours on their current render farm took less than 60 seconds on a single Mac Pro… Next year should be a boon for Ultra HD and 4k resolution CG… I for one will be picking up a new mac pro to replace my current one… and I just work in 1080p right now… my renders should be instant… WOOHOO

    I work in some TV production and some game content… not much animation… but if it is all that and bag of cats on Pixar’s latest greatest… Then I am fairly certain it will be sufficient for my work in after effects, logic proX, and Etc.

    The exciting part is it should reduce the cost for production of more complex CG… therefore we should see higher production values on the same budgets…

    spamety spam spam… yeah ok my first post is a little spammy but forgive me… I am excited as heck about the new Mac… I am not a spammer… There are people on here that know me from Debate Anything, Discuss Anything, Second Life, and Real Life…
