There’s a Supernatural Spin-Off in the Works

CW is keeping the spirit of the Winchester brothers rolling with a Supernatural spin-off. The network must be feeling very confident that Supernatural fans are interested in a show that does not focus on the Sam and Dean. A new character will be introduced at the end of season 9, with a plot intended to carry-on to the new show.
