Amazon and Netflix Pass on Hannibal

A fan tweeted Hannibal creator and show runner, Bryan Fuller, asking for an update on the recently cancelled show finding a new home elsewhere. Fuller’s reply broke the hearts of every Fannibal on the internet:

According to Fuller, both Amazon and Netflix have already passed on picking up the series for a fourth season. Fans had been petitioning the streaming-only services to give the dark, yet beautiful, series a second life using the hashtag #SaveHannibal. Fuller doesn’t seem deterred though, and notes there are still other options - Hulu, FX, AMC, Showtime, perhaps?

We’ll keep an eye out for a response as to why Amazon and Netflix passed, and other further developments.
