What’s going on, ProFans? Joseph here, and I’m taking a break from watching all the shows to bring you the latest releases in home media for September 23, 2014. In this week’s episode, we discuss the worst-case scenario for homeowners, Hollywood hacking, and some TV. Ready to rock? Let’s do this.
Neighbors (Blu-ray + DVD + DIGITAL HD with UltraViolet)

Seth Rogen and Zac Efron star in this raunchy comedy from director Nicholas Stoller, who has brought us such films as The Five-Year Engagement (I still kinda wanna watch this), Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and Get Him to the Greek. In this movie, Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne star as former partygoers who have settled down in a nice suburb with their young child. They’re trying to go through the straight and narrow, until a fraternity led by Zac Efron moves in next door. Hilarity ensues. This movie is available in both a two disc Bluray/DVD + Digital Copy version and a single disc DVD version. I actually want to see this movie; I’ve heard that Rose Byrne gives a performance unlike any she’s ever done, and I’m here for that.

In this movie,Brenton Thwaites, Olivia Cooke, and Beau Knapp star as MIT students taking a cross-country trip to California. Along the way, they’re taunted by a hacker who is following their every move and almost got them expelled from the school. Somehow, they are all kidnapped and have to fight themselves out of a really bad situation. This movie, which also stars Laurence Fishburne, is available in both a two disc Bluray/DVD + Digital Copy version, and a single disc DVD version. I don’t know, guys; I like a good technological thriller as much as the next guy, but this one seems too bizarre for words. I’m gonna recommend letting this one slide.
There’s a lot of TV coming out, but the one that is the most important is also the one that’s my pick of the week.
