The whole town is finally hip to the creepy-ass kids running killing people. Yet, they manage to claim yet another victim ’cause these grown-ups still sleeping on these creepy-ass kids. The multiple stab wounds and small footprints near her body confirm Amy’s suspicions about the children, and the dead body in Mrs. Booth’s basement also solidifies her belief that the teacher is behind it all. Oh, and the Candle Cove props don’t hurt her theory either.

She deputizes Mike, kinda, and releases Gary so they can help track down their culprits. Mrs. Booth knows Mike and Gary are waiting for her so she arranges to meet with Mike back at his home. Seeing as how he doesn’t want anything to happen to Lily or his mother, he agrees. She confirms what we expected: She allowed Eddie to kill her son after Eddie used his power to stop her seizures. She’s been working in service of Eddie ever since.

The most shocking revelation was that Eddie created Candle Cove; he wasn’t drawn to it by someone or something else. It feels as though it was a place to banish those that tortured him, but also that whatever he is needs the death in order to survive. How or why he’s been dormant for so long will hopefully be answered in next week’s finale, but we know Mike’s presence in town is enough to make Eddie stronger. Is Eddie going to be reborn as Mike? Mike pulled out an extra tooth, so maybe?

This series has been slow, but filled with legitimately scary scenes. Most times, all it takes is the camera lingering on a single, often innocent, moment like a car pulling into a field or a person staring across a room. This week, nothing topped watching Mike’s daughter Lily first hide from and then play with the Tooth-Child as it mimicked her movements, making her giggle. Of course, this means she ends up in the TV in Candle Cove, but I’m not sure what she was thinking kiki’ing with a damn child made of teeth. That’s on you, Lily.

Oh, and RIP cop who let a gang of creepy-ass kids surround him even though he knew they were looking for a gang of creepy-ass murdering kids.
