Step right up one and all and cross every appendage in the hopes you may be the one who wins the trip of a lifetime! There are a multitude of anniversaries being celebrated in 2016 within the comics industry, one of which being Dark Horse Comics’ 30th anniversary! The small-print-that-could is responsible for giving many young creators the opportunities and creative liberties major publications never could. The company achieved a great deal of critical and commercial success with a number of hugely popular titles such as Concrete, Sin City, Hellboy, Usagi Yojimbo, The Goon, Lone Wolf and Cub, Oh My Goddess!, Akira, Umbrella Academy and American Splendor. Not to mention the licensed series featuring Aliens, Predator, Terminator, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and of course, their prolific run of Star Wars titles from the early 1990s to 2014.
