First Look: New ‘Catching Fire’ Photos

With Comic-Con San Diego starting in two days, the internet is abuzz with upcoming trailers, sneak peeks at posters, and other fandom delights. One of the most highly anticipated movies to hit screens later this year is The Hunger Games follow-up, Catching Fire. If you don’t want to know what happens in the movie, skip the next paragraph and scroll past the picture of Katniss to keep reading.

In Catching Fire, President Snow devises a way to get Katniss and Peeta, and other living victors from the remaining Districts, back into the Hunger Games. After their victory tour, during which Katniss realizes that her pulling one over on the Capital’s games has stirred up a rebellion, Katniss and Peeta are sent back in for the games 75th anniversary, or The Quarter Quell. The new games will take place in an aquatic course, hence the costumes below. Have a look.
