Game of Mars

We thought we would have a little fun with Veronica Mars star Kristen Bell’s fandom for the hit HBO series Game of Thrones, and the result is the perfect crossover: Game of Mars.

Back in June, during a roundtable for The Hollywood Reporter, Kristen Bell professed her fandom for Game of Thrones and expressed a desire to guest star on the series: “I want to wear one of those cloaks, I want to have a dragon baby. I want everything,” said Bell.

Now, just yesterday, HuffPost Entertainment reported that Bell had told them she wanted to dress up as the Khaleesi (Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen) for Halloween, this year: “I fully realize I’m two years late, and I’m not going to apologize for it, but I think I’m going to be Khaleesi from Game of Thrones,” remarked the actress. She went on to say her husband, Dax Shepherd, planned to be Khal Drogo, while they would dress up their daughter Lincoln and their two dogs as dragons.

After we stopped imagining how adorable that family photo will be, we started to think it might be interesting to try a bit of crossover fun with Bell’s cult-favorite series Veronica Mars and the HBO series Game of Thrones. You can judge for yourselves how well the two match up, Marshmallows and… Game of Thrones fans (Thronies?), but we think Game of Mars would be an instant hit.
