Glee Says Goodbye Next Season

Ryan Murphy is calling the upcoming season 6 the last for the show. While the show has revolved around all of the members of the high school glee club, fans know that it has always really been the Rachel and Finn show. After the unexpected and tragic death of Cory Monteith, the storyline has to change—but in this case, the show will not go on.

“The final year of the show, which will be next year, was designed around Rachel and Cory/Finn’s story,” Murphy says at a Paley Center event honoring FX Networks. “I always knew that, I always knew how it would end. I knew what the last shot was – he was in it.”
