HVFF: Fire and Ice Panel
The Flash stars Robbie Amell (Firestorm) and Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow) took the stage at Heroes and Villains Fan Fest with plenty of energy and excitement on Saturday.
With many jokes about Ronnie’s untimely demise(s), Amell talked happily about his time on The Flash and praised the show’s second season, as well as Franz Drameh’s portrayal of the new Firestorm, Jay Jackson. Many of the questions directed at Panabaker were about season two and some people questioned her character seeming to move on too soon after Ronnie’s death. Amell joked that even his real-life fiancée thinks it’s too soon.

Panabaker also addressed the focus on set up for Legends of Tomorrow and said that there are some storylines that are more heavily featured, but that focus should shift later in the season.
When asked about the upcoming DC Flash movie, Amell did say that they were excited to see the big screen version and their take, but that it is a little sour to not be involved.
The cast seems very protective and supportive of each other. On set they try to make each other laugh and Danielle said Tom and Grant especially try to make each other crack. Robbie said Grant breaks out into some well choreographed dance moves between takes and Danielle remarked that cast newcomer Teddy Sears laughs really easily.
Their panel definitely showcased their chemistry and made me wish that we’d gotten a chance to see a happier Ronnie and Caitlin onscreen.
