Jamie Dornan Cast as the New Christian Grey

According to Variety and Entertainment Weekly, Irish actor Jamie Dornan is in the final stages of being cast as Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey film. As we reported last week, Charlie Hunnam (Pacific Rim, Sons of Anarchy) dropped out of the role citing scheduling conflicts with SoA. Most believe that the backlash and controversial nature of the film spooked Hunnam whose star has been on a steady rise.

Dornan has been most recently seen in Once Upon a Time and The Fall, starring Gillian Anderson, as a cold serial killer.
