Jason Momoa in as Aquaman in Batman v Superman?

Drew McWeeny over at Hitfix is pretty damn sure Jason Momoa will be playing Aquaman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Though the Game of Thrones star had recently expressed annoyance at people getting all up in his grill about it, Hitflix is now reporting that the casting is a done deal.

As you might expect, not everyone is happy with this as Momoa’s look is a huge departure from the look of the character in the comics. ProFan John weighs in with this:

Although this is a huge departure from the known look of the character, I do think this will go a long way to make the film’s version of Aquaman feel like the badass Aquaman is, especially the New 52 Aquaman. If this Aquaman is successful, I wouldn’t be surprised if they maybe change the look of the comic character to fit this one, a la Marvel’s changes to Nick Fury that model him after Samuel L. Jackson.
