My pick for this month is the underrated film Dope. Starring Shameik Moore, Kiersy Clemons, and Zoë Kravitz, this tells the story of a reserved high schooler trying to make it in the mean streets of L.A. while trying to get into college. He gets invited to an underground party that serves as the catalyst to him finally discovering the man he’s supposed to be. If that’s not your style, then there’s the “comedy” Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, and dramas Atonement, and I Love You Phillip Morris. Also, the Tanner family is back in the first season of Fuller House.
Well, that’s all I’ve got for this month. Got any questions or comments? Did I miss something you wanted to discuss? Please feel free to hit me up in the comments section below.
Until next time…
