The Rebound

My pick of the month is The Edge of Seventeen. Starring Hailee Steinfeld, Woody Harrelson, and Kyra Sedgwick, this tells the story of high school junior Nadine Franklin (Steinfeld) as she maneuvers through her life’s struggles with family and interpersonal relationships pulling her down a path she wasn’t ready for. Also on the docket this month are the American Pie films (American Pie, American Pie 2, and American Wedding), As Good as It Gets, Final Destination, Hostel, the Jaws series of films (Jaws, Jaws 2, Jaws 3, Jaws: The Revenge), comedy from such luminaries as Ray Romano, Ken Jeong, and Larry Charles, a whole host of Spanish language specials, and so much more.
