My pick of the month is Dallas Buyers Club. Starring Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner, and Jared Leto, it tells the story of Ron Woodroof (McConaughey), a hard-living construction worker who contracts AIDS after a one-night stand. After being ostracized by family and friends, he meets Dr. Eve Saks (Garner) and Rayon (Leto) - a trans woman - who helps him come to grips with his illness and he begins to challenge the FDA to get the drug that could help AIDS sufferers survive. Also coming to Netflix is the Godfather Trilogy, the Lethal Weapon Tetralogy, Training Day, The Truman Show, Cars 3, and a host of documentaries and Spanish-language comedies. This month, there truly is something for everyone.
That’s all I’ve got for this month. Got any questions or comments? Did I miss something you wanted to discuss? Feel free to hit me up in the comments section below.
Until next time…
If you can access it after today…. Thanks FCC
if you still have it in January based on the vote today. If #NetNeutrality ends, you can bet I will not have Netflix anymore. Consider my subscription cancelled.
