Patti’s ProFan Review: Sorcery Craft

Sorcery Craft is a turn-based magic battle game available for the iPhone and iPad. You learn different spells, collect equipment, and capture pets to become a more powerful wizard.

It’s a fairly simple game. A number of different-colored spells are shown on the screen, and you trace your finger in the shape of the spell to cast it.

There are over a hundred different pets, and you’ll battle against them to either kill them or capture them to use against your opponents or to sell for coins, so you can upgrade your equipment. You can also play against opponents all over the world. I downloaded the game not expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The graphics are good, the pets are adorable, and the game is entertaining. You get to play against a bus with legs! And even capture one to fight at your side. It’s a simple game that doesn’t require much skill or strategy. It can potentially get a bit repetitive after a while, but there’s still lots of game play to get out of it before that happens.

The game is free, and there are in-app purchases, of course, but not to the detriment of the enjoyment of the game. I haven’t had to purchase anything, and as long as you have the patience to let your character level up for free, you probably won’t have to purchase any, either. If you think you enjoy these types of games, I highly recommend you download it and give it a try.

About Patti Matteucci (265 Articles)
Patti Matteucci plays in an imaginary band in Illinois where she rocks the mic like a vandal while simultaneously cooking MCs like a pound of bacon. She is into most nerdy things but doesn’t excel enough in any to be labeled a nerd. One of her top skillz is scouring the internet for recipes, printing out a big pile, and then throwing them away before ever trying them when she remembers that you can have food made and delivered to your front door by somebody else. She is a 14 year old trapped inside a 33 year old’s body (or maybe also a 14 year old’s body) with an unabashed love for Justin Bieber and far too much time spent marrying celebrities in Sims 3.
