Podcast Fandom Episode 42: American Horror Story: Coven - Go To Hell
In this episode of Podcast Fandom, time constraints and schedule conflicts result in Meghan and Ellen not being able to join Nina and John in podcapping American Horror Story: Coven‘s penultimate episode: “Go To Hell“. Even though they are missing half of themselves, Nina and John still tear through scene-by-scene analysis of the episode, throw in some references to things like Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, and dote on how badass and hot Lily Rabe’s Misty Day is. There’s lots of feedback from you guys, including a request for Nina’s explanation of her hatred of The Help, and John mentions that he loves silent movies approximately 12 times, so-you know-we think he probably likes silent movies a little bit. Enjoy!
Show notes
- In this episode, Nina and John compare Misty Day’s sweet moves to both Rocky Balboa and X-Men‘s Juggernaut.
- Also in this episode, the duo mentions another podcast John does with friend of the site Steven Novak; it’s called Bearded Scrutiny, a podcast where harried men spoil movies you’ve already seen.
- Also mentioned is Steven Novak’s series of books Breadcrumbs for the Nasties, of which he has recently released a novella by the title of Bloodboots: A Breadcrumbs For The Nasties Short. Check it out!
