Podcast Fandom Episode 59: The Following S2E7 ‘Sacrifice’
Happy to report that for the second week in a row, I’ve been pleased with The Following.
Lily took her revenge on Ryan and Mike by enlisting a serial killer called “The Huntsman” to kidnap and kill Max. Luckily, the duo track her down in time to save her after employing some questionable tactics while questioning The Huntsman’s little boy. I fully approve of their methods. Unfortunately, while this was going on, Lily and Mark were murdering Mike’s father and sent the FBI of video of it. Shawn Ashmore really delivered in this episode. It was like someone turned on faucets behind his eyes.
Meanwhile, Joe, Emma, and Amanda arrive at the Korban Community which makes Jim Jones’ group look like summer camp. After Joe clashes with the new cult leaders’ wife, Emma is used in a ritual which involved her wrists being slit. She’s not dead, yet, but needless to say Joe isn’t happy about their new accommodations.
