Podcast Fandom Episode 89: Resurrection S1E7 ‘Schemes of the Devil’

This was the best episode of the season, so far. It made me cry. It was so heartbreaking.

Episode Summary: Jacob meets a mystery girl in the park and runs away from home to go back to the park and see her. We learn later that she and her family are also returned. Meanwhile, Gary holds Rachael hostage. He’s been drinking and growing frustrated with her lack of answers. Fred makes the wrong call by trying to talk Gary into going away for a few days and “cooling down.” Marty has the right (and better) idea to arrest Gary. Unfortunately, it ends badly when Rachael is shot and killed. Maggie discovers that Jacob’s blood removed cancer cells from another blood sample. The whole town is turned upside down when hundreds of returned appear. Maggie comes face-to-face with her mother.
