Alana and Marko are finally back together, but their family isn’t complete. They use their considerable skills (minus violence, which doesn’t please Alana) to get a lead on Hazel’s location. After one daring escape, the two break their vow to remain celibate until they’ve gotten their daughter back. I wonder if Fiona Staples ever thought she’d get paid to draw so many penises.
Meanwhile, Ghus has been living with Prince Robot IV, though he’s not so much a prince anymore, but an errant knight seeking adventure. His son, Squire, seems like he might be on his way to being an expert hunter, or a serial killer.
This review isn’t very long because it feels like the issue (though the usual length) was extremely short. Nothing really happened. It was great to see Alana and Marko, and it’s wonderful that they seem to be on the right track in finding Hazel, but a lot of the events in this issue felt like things we would already assume they’re doing.
It’s not that the issue was bad - far from it - I guess I was expecting more movement.
I’m happy that Marko seems to be working towards finally forgiving himself for accidentally hitting Alana, and that the celibacy plan went out the window. This couple is at their best when they’re on the run and unable to keep their hands off each other.

Summary
There’s no such thing as a bad issues of Saga, but I would have loved to see more movement in the story. Still, it’s hard to complain when we got massive amounts of Alana and Marko’s goodness. It was fun seeing them work together again.
Staples continues to meet the challenge of illustrating such bizarre imagery.
