Saga #34

First, let’s take a moment to appreciate this gorgeous cover:
Okay. Now let’s talk about the story.
Hazel finds help from an unlikely source when Petrichor walks in and finds her standing over Miss Noreen’s body. She orders Hazel to hide her wings and offers to make the not-yet-dead teacher really dead to ensure Hazel’s secret remains just that. Hazel passes on the whole murdering thing, and Petrichor makes it look as though Noreen had an accident.
Alana and Marko finally reunite with Prince Robot IV, and even though he threatens to shoot them, they still ask for his help in rescuing Hazel from the detention center. When his son’s pleas to say yes don’t work, the couple threaten to tell the King where he can find his son and grandson - that does the trick.
Upsher and Doff are prisoners of The Will, who is still seeing and speaking to his dead girlfriend. She suggests he kill one of them, but after Upsher admits he knows where to find Prince Robot, they’re both spared… for now.
When Noreen wakes up, she agrees to keep Hazel’s secret, but more than that, she tells Hazel she’ll help her escape.

Summary
As usual, great issue. I love how people are drawn to help Hazel. She truly is a symbol of hope that this ongoing war can come to an end. That said, I really hope Noreen doesn’t help Hazel escape before her parents arrive. I am dying to see this family reunited. With The Will tracking Prince Robot and him helping Alana and Marko, all the players will end up together eventually. I hope.
