• Outstanding questions: How did Wells know Barry would be standing where he was, holding that chain, when struck by lightning? How did future Barry become The Flash? Was it the particle accelerator exploding so Wells figured another explosion would do it again because fate? That seems a little uncertain for a man like Wells.

After Ronnie contained the blast to go upwards, Wells told Cisco he was on his way down. But first he stops in his secret room and watches as Barry is struck by lightning. “See you soon, Barry.” 
• Outstanding Questions: How do people think Wells was hurt and loss the use of his legs? He was walking and fine after Ronnie saved the building. He saw Barry struck by lightning. What incident could have happened between his going into his secret room and meeting Cisco downstairs that would explain a severe injury like that?

• Noticeable Noticeables: 1. Snart’s voice is totally different in this first episode compared to later episodes. 2. The thief who stole the cold gun from S.T.A.R. Labs mentions their skeleton crew and lack of security. No shit! 3. Snart meets Mick in Keystone, the city Eddie Thawne transferred from.

• Noticeable Noticeables: 1. A bit of Eobard’s hubris comes out when he’s offended Bette thought Eiling created her. “He’s not smart enough to create someone like you.” 2. Barry vibrates his vocal cords to distort his voice for the first time.
• Best Joe Black Fatherhood Moment: After Joe tells Barry to talk to Iris again about writing about The Streak, Barry just stands there for a few moments. Barry: “You mean right now?” Joe: “Yes, I mean right now.”
• West-Allen Moment: The Flash rendezvous with Iris on the Jitters rooftop. Very Lois Lane and Superman.
• #52 Reference: Eiling was interviewed by Channel 52
• Barry Saves the Day By: Running on water… really fast
• Post-Credit Easter Egg: Eiling pays a surprise visit to S.T.A.R. Labs and threatens Wells. Wells threatens him right back and then remembers a night before the particle accelerator explosion. Wells stopped working with Eiling after he found out he’d been performing unethical experiments on a gorilla named Grodd.

• Noticeable Noticeables: 1. Well says, “Interesting. A man of steel.” 2. The lab where they do all of their secret meta-human stuff is on Level 600. 600. How big is this place?
• Best Joe Black Fatherhood Moment: “You come up against somebody you know you can’t beat. Be smart. It’s okay to run the other way.”
• West-Allen Moment: Iris: “I’ve missed you.” Barry: “Yeah, I’ve missed you, too. … I don’t know what I would do if anything happened to you.”
• Barry Saves the Day By: Super-sonic punch, baby!
• Post-Credit Easter Egg: The man in yellow visits Joe, scares the shit out of him, steals his files on the Nora Allen murder, and then leaves a threatening message on Iris’ picture with a knife going through her heart - just like how Nora died.
• Outstanding questions: So, Wells said he and Tess were in/from Maryland. What does that have to do with Starling City, which is where they later said they lived when they got into the car accident? And am I the only who thinks Joe should have remained suspicious of Well since right after he tells him he’s not going to give up looking into Nora’s death, the man in yellow makes his first appearance in 15 years?

 Power Outage - S1E7

• Meta-human of the Week: Faruk (Blackout) - can siphon electrical power
• Who knows Barry is The Flash: Scratch Girder off the list because he died. Faruk knew, but he died too. Still at 7.
• Feel Sorry For: Faruk. That poor guy just wanting to do crazy shit like climb electrical towers when a storm is coming. Next thing you know, he’s a human defibrillator and killing his friends.
• #FlashBars: Cisco: ‘You have the yips. You know, when a second baseman all of sudden can’t throw to first, or a golfer can’t putt, and they get all embarrassed and upset and it’s hot mess and they feel like even more of a failure.”
• Shady-Ass Wells Line: “This isn’t just about you. Remember that, Barry.” 
• Noticeable Noticeables: 1. When Barry lost his powers, the future changed. The new headline read that the U.S. Postal Service shut down completely. 2. Cisco insensitively gave Faruk a meta-human name after he was dead, to which Wells snapped, “He had a name, Cisco.”  3. It has been 312 days since Barry was struck by lighting.
• Best Joe Black Fatherhood Moment: Joe convinces the Clock King to allow Iris a moment with Eddie, who’s dying.
• West-Allen Moment: When Barry finally defeated Faruk, his first word/thought was, “Iris.”
• #52 Reference: Wells diary entries to Gideon (re: Barry) are all labeled “Entry_52.”
• Barry Saves the Day By: Overcoming the yips. Iris saved herself from the Clock King.
• Post-Credit Easter Egg: Wells takes a sample from Faruk’s dead body to learn how he stole The Flash’s power. He also winks at Nimbus, who’s chilling in his own containment cell in gas form.
• Outstanding questions: Wells needs The Flash to get home, but could whatever he learned from Faruk’s blood (if anything) come into play if he needs to stop Barry?

The Flash vs. Arrow - S1E8

• Meta-human of the Week: Roy Bivilo (Prism) - Can control people’s emotions and fills them with rage (Caitlin calls him Rainbow Raider later, but Cisco is like, “Nah.”)
• Who knows Barry is The Flash: Add Diggle.
• Feel Sorry For: Diggle. He could not wrap his mind around Barry’s powers. There may have been drool.
• #FlashBars: Oliver: “We can talk about you giving your enemies silly codenames later.” Barry: “You mean like over coffee with Deathstroke and The Huntress?”
• Noticeable Noticeables: Oliver didn’t trust Wells ass.
• Best Joe Black Fatherhood Moment: When infected Barry jumped in Singh’s ass, Joe had to interject with that black fatherhood to save Barry’s job.
• Barry Saves the Day By: He doesn’t. He’s infected by Prism and needs to be saved by Oliver, Wells, and Joe.
• Imprisoned Meta-humans: The Mist (Kyle Nimbus), Roy Bivilo (Prism)
• Post-Credit Easter Egg: While Caitlin stares at a picture of her and Ronnie, he’s chilling under an overpass, lighting up and scaring thugs.
• Outstanding questions: Why was Wells bugging Felicity to know The Arrow’s identity? He’s from the future and already knew.

The Man in the Yellow Suit - S1E9

• Feel Sorry For: Barry. Iris doesn’t return his love and he got beaten up by the man in yellow, who killed his mother and who’s faster than him.

• Noticeable Noticeables: 1. Unlike what Barry says in a later episode, the man in yellow did NOT say that they’d been at it for centuries. 2. They straight up gave Firestorm one of Stephen Amell’s Arrow flashback wigs.
• Best Joe Black Fatherhood Moment: “There I was thinking I’m changing your life by taking you in. Truth is, you changed mine. So don’t lose that light now, Barry. The world may need The Flash, but I need my Barry Allen.”
• West-Allen Moment: The exchange of Christmas presents gets you right in the feels.
• Barry Saves the Day By: He doesn’t. Ronnie saves Barry then bounces.
• Post-Credit Easter Egg: Wells enters his secret room and uses a ring with a lightning bolt on it to reveal the yellow suit.
• Outstanding questions: Why did Wells come forward now? Was it just to light a fire and try to push Barry to go faster? If it was about getting the tachyon device, why didn’t he take it when he went to Mercury Labs in the beginning? He can phase through walls. Also, how the hell was he a recording and beating himself up? When he’s taken out of the room by The Flash, did no one notice Wells (a recording?) just laying in the containment field? I don’t get it!

• Barry Saves the Day By: He doesn’t, really. Wells uses the car radios nearby to release a frequency that disables Hartley.
• Imprisoned Meta-humans: The Mist (Kyle Nimbus), Roy Bivilo (Prism), and Hartley (Pied Piper) - but he is let out by Cisco next week.
• Post-Credit Easter Egg: Wells is having trouble using the tachyon device to stabilize his suit.
• Outstanding questions: Didn’t Grodd say Wells (Father) doesn’t like guns? Also, in a prior episode, Wells says he doesn’t like weapons, but in this episode he pulls out a gun when Hartley comes to his house.
