Elena and Stefan are rescued from Markos by Julian’s wife. She is later killed when Luke and his crazy-ass sister attack them in the middle of the street. Enzo is anxious to get back from The Other Side, something you’d have thought he’d have considered before he committed suicide by Stefan. Markos and his people begin the spell and supernaturals begin losing their powers. Julian - in Tyler’s body - kills Stefan to stop the spell. Enzo tries to hold on to Anna, Julian’s wife, but she’s swept into the darkness. Since she’s the only one who knows the spell to stop the Other Side from disintegrating - and was willing to perform it - Bonnie tells Stefan he’s pretty much screwed before he passes through her.
