Oh, My! C-3PO is in the Spotlight of Upcoming Star Wars Special!
It’s been a few months now since The Force Awakens made over two billion dollars in ticket sales (and hundred of millions in merchandising), so it’s safe to assume the film was a rousing success and more films will be released. *fingers crossed* During those particularly torturous weeks when one has actually gotten tired of viewing all the films on Blu-Ray and cannot watch every episode of The Clone Wars and Rebels again for the 501st time, there is the other canonical solution: comic books!
In late March, Marvel will release a special based on everyone’s favorite protocol droid, C-3P0! Written by James Robinson (Starman, Airboy, All-New Invaders) and illustrated by Tony Harris (Starman, Ex Machina), the Star Wars Special will unveil what the gold-plated chatterbox has been up to the last 30 years and why he was sporting a red arm in Episode VII.
The possibility of you successfully buying this comic book is basically even. Of course, there will be a number of variants featuring covers by John Tyler Christopher, Reilly Brown and Todd Nauck! Additionally, a movie photo variant and blank cover will be sold for those extra special commissioned sketches.
Star Wars Special: C-3P0 #1 will be available in print and digital March 30!
