Sharp Objects: HBO Debuts First Trailer

Here’s our first look at HBO’s new eight-episode limited series, Sharp Objects, starring Amy Adams. Sharp Objects is based on the Gillian Flynn bestselling novel of the same name, and follows reporter Camille Preaker (Adams) as she returns to her hometown to investigate the murder of two young girls and ends up unearthing secrets from her own past.
Patricia Clarkson, Chris Messina, Eliza Scanlen, Elizabeth Perkins and Matt Craven also star, and the Marti Noxon serves as showrunner as well as writer on several episodes. Flynn also writes a few episodes.
Sharp Objects is set to debut this July. Check out the trailer below.
