BluTuesday - August 26, 2014

Hey, ProFans! Joseph here, and I’m taking a break from getting psyched up for the start of college football (Go Blazers!) to bring you the latest in home media for August 26, 2014. In this week’s episode, we discuss Adam Sandler’s incessant need to poison us with bad movies, and another full slate of TV releases. All ready to go? Let’s go, then!

Blended (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital HD UltraViolet Combo Pack)
Rotten Tomatoes rating: 14%

Many years ago, Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore made movie gold with The Wedding Singer. A few years later, they made movie silver with 50 First Dates. Now, they’ve made movie manure with Blended. They star as two divorced couples with a bunch of kids that come together to become a ridiculous version of The Brady Bunch, complete with a trip to South Africa and they somehow convinced Terry Crews to shuck and jive with the best of them. Geah. This “movie” is available in a two disc Bluray/DVD + Digital Copy version and a single disc DVD version. Please don’t watch this…I beg of you.

Now, on to bigger and better things…our TV extravaganza!

Criminal Minds: Season 9

Haven: Complete Fourth Season

Musketeers, The

Revenge: Season 3

The Walking Dead: Season 4 Limited Edition [Blu-ray] (Pick of the Week)

And, that’s all I’ve got for this week. Got any questions or comments? Did I miss something you wanted to talk about? Feel free to hit me up in the comments section below.

Until next time…
