Game of Thrones Recasts Daario Naharis

As if Ser Friend Zoned Jorah Mormont didn’t have it hard enough.

The folks at HBO have replaced the actor last seen playing Daario Naharis on Game of Thrones, Ed Skrein, with Treme alum Michiel Huisman. No word yet on why the change occurred and a photo posted on Instagram by Huisman’s trainer, claiming the actor was getting fit for the role, has since been deleted.

Early fan reaction around the internet leans in Huisman’s favor, though several of the ladies here at Project Fandom will miss Skrein’s snaggle-toothed charm.
