Geek Item of the Week: Captain America Figures

So, you all know that last week Captain America: The Winter Soldier was released in theaters. And if you didn’t know about it, I don’t even know why you’re here. Leave us.

Anyway, Hot Toys has announced its upcoming Captain America figures. There’s good old Stealth S.T.R.I.K.E. Suit Cap, which contains Cap himself, several swappable hands, and a metal shield. There’s also a set that includes that, plus Steve Rogers. Steve also contains several swappable hands, a Cap mask, and a distressed metal shield. They both come with their own stands.

They’re both 1/6 scale collectible figures and very realistic looking. My friend showed me a pic of the Cap figure and my response was, “Not that I’m complaining, but why are you showing me a picture of Chris Evans?” So, they both look very much like Chris. I’d put this in my bed on a shelf right next to my bed.

Hot Toys makes great looking movie collectables. So if you’re into the Cap and you’ve got the money to splurge, you’ll definitely want to consider adding these figures to your collection. If you don’t have a collection, you might think of starting one. You can pre-order  the pair for $339.99.
