• Feel Sorry For: Earth-1’s Eddie Slick. He wasn’t even supposed to be here today!
• Shady-Ass Jay Line: “He needs to be the best, and he will do whatever it takes to ensure he’s the only speedster in any world.”
• The Thirst is Real: “Nice to meet you. I’m a big fan. I’m Patty. Patty Spivot.”
• Noticeable Noticeables: The news announces Oliver Queen’s new alter-ego moniker: The Green Arrow.
• Iris, Come Thru!: Iris quickly gets to the bottom of Barry’s trust issues when it comes to Jay, and also convinces him to trust his team.
• Snowbarry Moment: Jay has Caitlin all atwitter. Barry does not notice.
• Why Would You Keep This to Yourself?: Cisco vibes the Sand Demon. Doesn’t tell anyone. He finally admits his meta-human status to Stein later in the episode.

• Science Circles: Stein using them to explain the multi-verse. He literally just draws a bunch of circles on the board and number them to explain multiple universes. Everyone gets it.
• Barry Saves the Day By: Creating and throwing a lightning bolt
• Post-Credit Stinger: The Savior of Central City on Earth-2 is Harrison Wells.
• Outstanding questions: Jay had regenerative properties, but no trace of the Speed Force in his system. How Sway? Was he completely powerless and dying without Velocity boosts? | Patty says her father was killed by Mark Mardon and then Mardon got powers a few months later. In a later episode, she says she was supposed to go to the bank that day, but wanted to hang out with her friends. I could have sworn she made it seem like she was in high school when that happened. No way she was in high school a year ago.

• The Thirst is Real: Patty mistakenly thinks Barry wants her number. He doesn’t. But she gives it to him anyway.
• Best Joe Black Fatherhood Moment: Joe lied his ass off for 20 years, but the scene between him and Iris, as he confesses his lies about Francine, was touching. Both Jesse L. Martin and Candice Patton killed it.
• West-Allen Moment: “Iris, do you trust me?” “Yes, I trust you.” “Okay. Then jump.” 
• Snowbarry Moment: Caitlin spends the entire episode getting to know Jay, bringing him food. Barry does not notice.
• Pop Goes the Reference:  “Excelsior!” - Stein
• Barry Saves the Day By: Being Sam and dracon is his jam.
• Post-Credit Stinger: Wells BYKE!
• Outstanding questions: Was Hunter/Jay a scientist? He must have been to figure out the speed cannon to transport metas from Earth-2 to Earth-1.

• Iris, Come Thru!: Though I didn’t like that she didn’t give Francine a chance to explain, Iris was smart to look into her mother and discover she has a brother.
• West-Allen Moment: “She’s not Iris.”
• Snowbarry Moment: Caitlin takes it upon herself to bring in Hewitt and tell him everything. Barry is slightly annoyed. She also reveals herself to be a bit of a classist. 
• Pop Goes the Reference:  “Are we going to create a Tinder app for meta-humans? I’m pretty sure that merging with Stein and bursting into flames is the biggest swipe left.” - Cisco
• Why Would You Keep This to Yourself?: Iris does not tell Joe he has a son.

• The Thirst is Real: Patty asks Barry to write a police report with her, as you do.
• Iris, Come Thru!: Iris shoots Dr. Light’s mask off, like the BAMF she is.
• Snowbarry Moment: Jay offers to look after Linda Park since Barry can’t see. Before the words are out of his mouth fully, Caitlin volunteers to go with him. Barry does not notice.
• Barry Saves the Day By: Listening to both Wells and Jay in catching Dr. Light
• Post-Credit Stinger: Zoom is holding Harrison Wells’ daughter against her will.
• Outstanding questions: Why, exactly did Zoom take Jesse months before the breach opened?

• Meta-human of the Week: Zoom a.k.a Badass Motherfucker a.k.a Wish It Was Really Tony Todd (Earth-2)
• Who knows Barry is The Flash: Linda Park
• Feel Sorry For: Barry’s neck, his back, his neck and his back, and his feelings.
• #FlashBars: “You thought you could defeat me with this?”
• The Thirst is Real: Barry tells Patty Joe isn’t being distant because of their kiss; he doesn’t even know about it. Yet, she still brings it up to Joe when he’s trying to do his work.
• Best Joe Black Fatherhood Moment: Joe grips us Wells after Barry is hurt and he learns Zoom has Jesse.
• Iris, Come Thru!: Iris convinces Barry, again, that he has to have faith in the people who have faith in him.
• Snowbarry Moment: Caitlin is now super suspicious of Wells because Jay was, even though Jay stormed off saying he wasn’t going to be involved in catching Zoom. Caitlin then takes every opportunity to remind the team that Jay isn’t there. Barry does not notice. Caitlin also shits on the idea to use Linda to trap Zoom, reminding everyone - including Barry - several times that Zoom is faster than Barry.
• Barry Saves the Day By: He doesn’t. He does the exact opposite of saving the day. He doesn’t even save face.
• Post-Credit Stinger: Barry wakes up and cannot feel his legs.
• Outstanding questions: Seriously, why did Zoom take Jesse? We know it was before The Flash disappeared into the breach because the news report says The Flash showed up at the campus, but Zoom had already made off with Jesse.

Gorilla Warfare - S2E7

• Feel Sorry For: Grodd. He ain’t ask for this.
• #FlashBars: “He upgraded to a penthouse like a baller.” - Cisco
• The Thirst is Real: Patty catches Barry in a lie, which he covers with another lie. She forgives.
• Best Joe Black Fatherhood Moment: “Push yoself!” 
• Iris, Come Thru!: Iris is the only one who figures out that Barry needs Henry while he tries to regain his ability to walk and use his speed.
• West-Allen Moment: That “I got you, boo” head nod between the two.
• Snowbarry Moment: Caitlin is instrumental in getting Wells to stay and helps him figure out a plan to close the breaches. Barry doesn’t notice because he’s busy trying to learn to walk again.
• Wells-Ramon Bro-Moment: Ramon refuses to leave Harry alone with Grodd.
• Why Would You Keep This to Yourself?: Cisco tells no one his new girlfriend is possibly a meta-human, but definitely has wings.
• Barry Saves the Day By: Pushing Grodd through a breach.
• Post-Credit Stinger: Gorilla City!
• Outstanding questions: When pretending to be Thawne-Wells, Earth-2 Wells talks about promises he made to Grodd. Grodd doesn’t react as if any of it is a lie, and Cisco notices. Later, Cisco remarks that E-2 Wells knows a lot of things he shouldn’t, but this is never mentioned again. | How and why did Cisco vibe that Kendra is HawkGirl? She’s not from another dimension. | Will Wells ever figure out how to get Barry’s suit in Eobard’s ring? | Why do the breaches on Earth-1 lead to different places on Earth-2?

• Snowbarry Moment: Caitlin kisses Jay in Barry’s living room. Barry does not notice.
• Pop Goes the Reference: “Why are you not sleeping with the fishes?” - Wells
• Barry Saves the Day By: Working with both Jay and Wells
• Post-Credit Stinger: Wells agrees to steal Barry’s speed even after he realizes Zoom wants to fatten Barry up like a Christmas goose.
• Outstanding questions: Why anyone thought the same plan from “Enter Zoom” (lure Zoom and trap him) would work this time when they made no progress in increasing Barry’s speed is beyond me. | Also, no one discusses the fact that Patty shot an unarmed man in the prior episode, nor does she question why a man she thought was dead is alive… no thanks to her shooting him. | Also, she said her father was killed and then two months later Mardon became a meta-human, yet in this episode she said her dad was killed when he went to the bank instead of her because she was ditching with her friends. That was last year. *sigh*

• Wells-Ramon Bro-Moment: Cisco jumps in Wells’ ass about throwing his stuff in the lab when he’s frustrated. Wells responds by throwing more of Cisco’s stuff. Later, Cisco offers to vibe and check on Jesse whenever Wells wants.

• Barry Saves the Day By: Using team teach to stop Turtle
• Meta-Humans in Particle Accelerator: 2 (Turtle and Henry Hewitt) No, wait. Wells kills Turtle. Still 1.

• Outstanding questions: This Patty timeline concerning her dad and Mardon is a hot-ass mess.

• #FlashBars: “Do me a favor and shut up.” - Wells to Thawne
• The Thirst is Real: Even though she finally showed some agency about her relationship with Barry in the last episode, Patty spends this episode popping up, hanging around, and then begging before lying about a man with a gun to out Barry as The Flash.
• Iris, Come Thru!: Iris tells Wally to get over himself and visit his dying mother.
• Noticeable Noticeables: We “meet” Hunter Zoloman.
• Best Joe Black Fatherhood Moment: Wonderful moment of Joe comforting Iris outside Francine’s hospital room.
• Snowbarry Moment: Barry sees Caitlin looks worried. He tells her not to worry; they’ll get Dr. McGee back. Caitlin reveals she’s not worried about her. She’s worried about Jay because she cares about him and doesn’t want him to die. Barry is not jealous at all because he’s not romantically interested in her and never has been.
• Wells-Ramon Bro-Moment: “Oh, I see. You haven’t had your coffee this morning.” “I’ve had my coffee - don’t slurp.” *slurp* “Don’t slur-” *slurp* “Dooooon’t…” *slurp*
• Pop Goes the Reference: “Bye, Felicia” - Cisco to Thawne
• Science Circles: Wells breaks out three circles to explain Time Remnant.
• Barry Saves the Day By: Throwing Thawne’s ass through a time portal. Boy, bye.

• Best Joe Black Fatherhood Moment: When he finally starts being a dad to Wally.
• Iris, Come Thru!: Calls out Wally for still racing, confronts the criminal organizing the races, and schools her father on being Wally’s Dad and not his friend.
• West-Allen Moment: The look on Barry’s face when he couldn’t save Iris.
• Science Circles: No circles, but lots of scribbles and quark matter.
• Barry Saves the Day By: Saving Wally from certain death, and then forgiving Wells and realizing they need to go to Earth-2 and get Jesse/stop Zoom.
• Rating: 10 - And amazingly directed by Rachel Talalay.

• Noticeable Noticeables: Snart is the mayor of Central City on Earth-2 (Lisa or Leonard?), Captain Singh is an evil Backstreet Boy, and Deadshot is Iris’ partner on the force - but such a lousy shot.
• Best Joe Black Fatherhood Moment: The shade he throws Bartholomew is everything.
• Iris, Come Thru!: Earth-2 Iris is such a badass.
• West-Allen Moment: Mr. and Mrs. Allen
• Snowbarry Moment: Earth-2’s Caitlin is in love with Earth-2’s Ronnie. This doesn’t suprise or bother Barry. Either Barry.
• Pop Goes the Reference:  “I — I got no spit.” “Jaws.” “No, I’m not just quoting Jaws right now. I mean, I got no spit.” | “Are you Cloud City Vadering me right now?”
• Barry Saves the Day By: He doesn’t. He gets kidnapped.
• Post-Credit Stinger: Barry is held in Zoom’s lair with Jesse and a man in an iron mask.
• Outstanding questions: I guess now we know how the Earth-2 meta-humans knew so much about Barry and The Flash.
• Rating: 10 and Millicent Shelton did a fantastic job directing this episode

Escape From Earth-2 - S2E14

• Unannounced visits to S.T.A.R. Labs: 1 - Geomancer (How and why makes no damn sense)
• Who knows Barry is The Flash: +3: Jesse Wells, Killer Frost, and the man in the iron mask
• Feel Sorry For: The man in the iron mask, left behind with a psychopath
• Shady-Ass Jay: Conveniently took a nap and missed Geomancer showing up and erasing the work they did on the speed cannon.
• Noticeable Noticeables: Patty Spivot has worked the most Killer Frost cases.
• Best Joe Black Fatherhood Moment: When he reminds Jay that Barry is helping his Earth so he might need to start earning his keep and help save theirs.
• Iris, Come Thru!: Earth-1 Iris avoids having to write a scathing story about The Flash, while Earth-2 Iris assists in rescuing Barry and Jesse.
• West-Allen Moment: “I love you.” “I love you, too.”
• Snowbarry Moment: Caitlin cries when Jay dies. Barry is upset. She’s upset because Jay was her lover. Barry is upset because Jay was his friend. Barry and Caitlin are not romantically interested in each other. At all.
• Barry Saves the Day By: Telling himself to really believe in himself.
• Outstanding questions: Who the hell is the man in the iron mask? If Jay is Zoom, why didn’t he know his way around Earth-2’s S.T.A.R. Labs. Better yet, why was he telling the town to bring him Harrison Wells when he knew exactly where he’d be?
• Rating: 8.8

• Who knows Barry is The Flash: Unfortunately, still not Wally. *side-eye*
• Feel Sorry For: Caitlin. She’s pretty much over everyone’s shit and who can blame her?
• #FlashBars: “He’s fast. Get over it.” “Never.”
• Best Joe Black Fatherhood Moment: Diggle dispensed some to Barry, warning him not to turn into Oliver (you know, a mopey bastard), and Joe finally let Wally know there is not competition between him and Barry. Also, Joe collects bacon grease.
• Iris, Come Thru!: “Dad, you need to talk to him.” Blackest line delivery of the week.
• West-Allen Moment: Iris’ wheels start spinning when she learns she’s married to Barry on Earth-2.
• Pop Goes the Reference: “We’re going to need a bigger Flash.” - Cisco
• Why Would You Keep This to Yourself?: They refuse to tell Wally that Barry is The Flash.
• Barry Saves the Day By: Running on water, electrifying it and King Shark
• Post-Credit Stinger: Jay is Zoom! And Jay is dead. Huh?
• Outstanding questions: Jay is Zoom? And Jay is dead?

• West-Allen Moment: “Earth-2’s version of Netflix and Chill.”
• Snowbarry Moment: Cisco prefaces asking Caitlin to dance by saying they’re like brother and sister, which they are. And they have the exact same relationship as Barry and Caitlin.
• Pop Goes the Reference:  Earth-2 Wells listens to Kanye West. Beyonce is a senator on Earth-2. Law & Order reference and Jesse L. Williams was on Law & Order.
• Why Would You Keep This to Yourself?: Caitlin and Harrison finally tell Barry about the Velocity serum
• Barry Saves the Day By: Running really fast and taking people off the bridge that’s about to collapse. His “Just Say No” speech to Eliza isn’t as effective.

• Outstanding questions: How did Eliza know to go to S.T.A.R. Labs and lock The Flash in the particle accelerator?

• Run, Barry. Run: Thawne-Wells says it when Barry has to go after the wraiths. Creepy.

• Who knows Barry is The Flash: Wally should have figured it out, but alas…
• Feel Sorry For: Cisco. He’s struggling with not turning into his raggedy-ass Earth-2 self.
• Best Joe Black Fatherhood Moment: With a little help from Barry, Joe realizes Wally wants to move in and makes the offer.
• Iris, Come Thru!: Date? What date?
• West-Allen Moment: Iris doesn’t go on her date, and from the look on Barry’s face, he didn’t like that she was going on that date with Scott.
• Snowbarry Moment: Caitlin advises Iris about her feelings for Barry, because Caitlin is Barry’s friend and not at all remotely interested in him romantically. And he’s not interested in her either.
