Heroes & Villains: Time to Get Excited
My friends, we are living in a golden age of fandom. Comic book and genre shows have taken over the airwaves, the local comic book shops are hopping and in a single year dinosaurs, ant-sized men and Jedis are ruling the box office. So it’s no surprise that conventions are springing up all over the place. This November sees the first ever Heroes & Villains Fan Fest at the San Jose Convention Center and it promises to be an event fans will love.
Mainly populated by the heroes and villains of the CW’s The Flash and Arrow, the event is packed with two days of autographs, photo ops, and panels. This is truly meant to be a fan event.
The organizers want to bring the fans as close to the stars as possible. Con favorites Stephen Amell and John Barrowman are huge fan draws as well as Neal McDonough, who has been playing this season’s big bad, Damien Darhk, on Arrow.
Besides the many Flarrow stars, there’ll be a bunch of ladies from the Marvel/ABC family. Once Upon a Time’s Evil Queen Lana Parilla and Agent Carter’s Hayley Atwell will both be in attendance. For those interested in a little “inside baseball” talk, stunt coordinator, James Bamford and CW casting director David Rapaport will be there to talk about what happens behind the scenes. The two day event should be a unique experience for fans and hopefully will be the first of many.
Heroes & Villains Fanfest is Saturday and Sunday November 21-22 at the San Jose Convention Center. To buy tickets go here.
