Heroes & Villains FanFest - Day Two

Day two of  the Heroes and Villains FanFest was just as lively as day one and the fan interaction was great.

Highlights

  • The first panel of the day was Lana Parilla (Regina, Once Upon A Time) and Rebecca Mader (The Wicked Witch, Once Upon a Time). Both of them were lively and animated. Lana talked about taking her strength from Regina’s strong personality.
  • Stephen and Robbie Amell playing cornhole with two fans onstage during their cousins panel. (x)
  • An older Black gentleman telling David Ramsey (Diggle, Arrow) that when needed a hero, Diggle showed up just in time.
  • John Barrowman and Katie Cassidy AKA The Felicias #ByeFelicia (x)
  • John Barrowman and Neal McDonaugh shooting silly string with a little fan.
  • Stephen Amell closed out the day by riding the zip line (x) 

Scoop

  • During his panel, John Barrowman told fans to watch his Facebook page for news about an upcoming project with DC.
  • David Ramsey confirmed that his “MagNegro” helmet will get an upgrade courtesy of Cisco and the S.T.A.R. Labs crew. Also Diggle and Lyla will be involved in a #Flashover hunting down a member of the Suicide Squad.
  • Olicity scoop: Stephen teased an upcoming scene involving Felicity, Oliver, a limo ride and some Christmas carols.
  • Robbie Amell will be appearing in the new X-Files show.
  • Robbie’s independent short film project will premiere at the next HVFF in NJ.

Today’s heroes

  • Stephen Amell. He was the mastermind behind Heroes & Villains after he attended a Walker-Stalker Con and thought they could do something similar with the comic book properties.
  • The fans. The enthusiasm and support was great and the celebrities were deeply appreciative.
