There’s a saying that I love, that I’m probably going to get wrong, but it goes something like: You can tell a lot about a society by the way it treats its most vulnerable citizens. I think you can tell a lot about a person by the way they handle power and being in charge. RiRi “Ironheart” Williams rules with a big heart and a firm hand. She’s simply amazing.

In issue #10, after she kinda sorta accidentally overthrew Latveria’s government and declared herself its queen, RiRi immediately went about taking care of the country’s most vulnerable citizens. And she didn’t stop with starving children. She managed to calm rebels, negotiate with Lucia Von Bardas’ former military leadership, and set the country on a path for free elections. And that was just in four hours. Even S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Sharon Carter has to give her props.

Issue #10 focused more on RiRi’s mentor, Tony Stark. The women in his life — his birth mother, Amanda, RiRi, MJ, and Friday — share stories, including a few of their first encounters with Tony. MJ first connected with him after he crashed her runaway appearance and later tried to apologize. To two bonded over their complicated relationships with their fathers. RiRi was rescued by Iron Man when she was a young girl. That brief connection made an impression on her… and she of course was able to identify a problem with his suit after a few short minutes together. Coming up with a fix was probably what put her on the path that would bring Tony into her life again.

Friday, though, has the best story about the Tony Stark no one knew. The moments he hides from everyone. Moments like flying around the world to hug babies in the orphanages he funded. That’s right. Tony Stark cuddled babies in his spare time. These hidden sides of Tony further commit Amanda to carrying on his good works and makes her feel closer to her son. They also come just as Friday is no longer to sense Tony’s consciousness and announces that Tony Stark is gone.
