It Doesn’t End With the Veronica Mars Movie

Rob Thomas has signed a two-book deal to continue Veronica Mars past the movie’s storyline. According to Thomas, the books will pick up where the movie leaves off and will feature the cast of characters we love and new mysteries.

Thomas told The Hollywood Reporter, “I started my career as a novelist. Veronica Mars was first imagined as a novel. I’m thrilled that I’m going to get the opportunity to continue telling Veronica Mars stories in a form I’ve loved and missed.”

The movie, and the first book, are slated for a 2014 premiere.
