Local Stores: Magic Celebration

Local Stores: Magic Celebration is happening worldwide on September 7, 2013! You can play a special format event for free and receive a code for downloadable content for Magic 2014 —Duels of the Planeswalkers. While supplies last, each player will receive a Magic the Gathering M14 Core Set 2014 Deck Builder’s Toolkit (Even though that set kind of sucked.).

 

 

There’s more information on the official page and you can find a participating store near you using their event locator. I won’t be attending because i’m assuming lots of hardcore players will be there and they tend to suck the fun out of games. Also, I’m lazy, but that’s neither here nor there. If you happen to attend one of these events, come back and leave us some comments on how it went.

    I really want to start playing this, but I have no idea where to start.

      When my friends got me started, they had me buy a starter deck. They’re pre-made so you don’t have to build the deck yourself. That’s probably the easiest way to start playing. There’s a basic rule/guide sheet included with every starter deck and any other help you might need you can google or ask me.
