Buckaroos (that’s what I’m calling us now), the answers we sought are just around the corner, just beyond a room lined with blood - because it’s Nailbiter and we’re not going to get what we seek without things getting bloody… bloodier.

The third part of “Bound by Blood” shows us a somewhat softer side of Warren as he takes his confused daughter on a trip through the tunnels under Buckaroo and down memory lane. He reveals how much they have in common. Both were drawn to figure out the town’s darkest secret: What’s up with all the damn serial killers?

While they’re engaging in the world’s most disturbing father-daughter bonding, Crane and Finch find Alice’s research and the police find the remains of the teenagers who grabbed Alice. I was worried they’d think Alice was responsible for the murders, but Finch quickly notes it’s the work of the man in the mask.

Crane is understandably worried about her daughter, but I found it interesting that Finch seems to know Warren better than she does as he insists Warren wouldn’t hurt his daughter, and Crane isn’t so sure.

With not much to go on, they’re forced to accept Fairgold’s help, to Finch’s shock and disgust. I feel ya, brotha. And Crane believes their next stop should be someone who has intimate knowledge of the town, its secrets, and the Butchers. I’m pretty sure that’s the good doctor.

With Alice embarking on a creepy-ass journey to the truth with the man in the mask lurking nearby, things are bound to get bloodier before they get better.
