The picks of the month are Black Panther and A Wrinkle in Time. Black Panther, starring Chawick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, and Lupita Nyong’o, is the story of T’Challa (Boseman) as he ascends to the throne as the ruler of Wakanda after the death of his father in Captain America: Civil War, but faces a challenger to the throne in newcomer Erik Killmonger (Jordan). A Wrinkle in Time, starring Storm Reid, Oprah Winfrey, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, tells the story of Meg Murphy (Reid) as she searches the cosmos for her father, Dr. Murray (Chris Pine) under the tutelage of three spirits: Mrs. Which (Winfrey), Mrs. Whatsit (Reese Witherspoon), and Mrs. Who (Mindy Kaling). Also of note for next month is Bruce Almighty, Groundhog Day, Scarface, Lilo & Stitch, The Emperor’s New Groove, the second season of Iron Fist, and the final season of Once Upon a Time.
