Wizard World San Jose Lets You Get Close to Your Faves

This Labor Day weekend Bay Area fans came to the San Jose Convention Center to participate in the Wizard World convention. The convention kicked off Friday afternoon with a ribbon cutting featuring special guest Lou Ferrigno. The Friday fans came out especially for WWE star Roman Reigns, who did photo ops, autographs, and headlined a Q&A panel. Off-site at AFK Gamer Lounge, the “Drink & Draw” competition gave writers and artists the opportunity to relax and win cash prizes. Top prize went to a Disney princess/Avengers mashup.

Saturday, the convention floor was busy as past and present stars from The Walking Dead appeared for photo ops. Wizard World favorite, Michael Rooker, could occasionally be heard on the microphone along with special guest Bruce Campbell. The two gently ribbed each other and entertained the crowd. Rooker often walked the floor interacting with fans along the way.
