Thor: The Dark World - International Loki Poster

After three movies together, Loki is finally stepping out from his brother’s shadow with this kick-ass poster of him all by his lonesome.

In German, Loki means, “Badass.”

Of course, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe-and, generally, anyone who has spent more than few minutes on the internet in the past couple of years-know you can’t swing a mystical stick around without poking a Tom Hiddleston fan in the chest. Following his first turn as Loki, the mythological prankster step-brother of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Tom Hiddleston gained a bit of a following on the interwebs; after reprising the role in the mega-hit Marvel’s Avengers, Hiddleston broke out and arguably accumulated the series’ second-biggest fandom (Robert Downey Jr. still holds the top spot, there).

Thor: The Dark World (or Thor: The Dark Kingdom, as the above international poster advertises the film) will see Loki take on-if not a relatively larger role-certainly a friendlier role, as his step-brother is forced to team-up with him and take on an invading race of Dark Elves who are led by Malekith (Christopher Eccleston, aka the ninth Doctor!).

Thor: The Dark World, starring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Christopher Eccleston, Idris Elba, and many more big names, hits international theaters on October 30, 2013 and US theaters on November 8, 2013.
